"I swam for the Dolphinettes for 6 years
and I have learned many life lessons. I've
learned that being on a team is important to a
child because it not only helps a child physically
but it also helps a child learn about good sportsmanship, builds
self-confidence, and they make long lasting friendships.
These lessons last a lifetime. I
am very grateful that I had the opportunity
to learn how to swim and be on a swim team when
I was young. I remember always wanting to go
to practice and see my friends. I had a lot
of fun.
Later in my life, I
was able to use my swimming skills to become a lifeguard and
also a swimming instructor. I wouldn't have
been able to do this without my great coaches always
encouraging me to do my best. Swimming is a
great sport. It is something that you can do
forever. "
